Year 4 lantern-making workshop
Sapphire Class in Year 4 were lucky enough to work with artists from the New Carnival Company and were given a talk on 'Dark Skies.'
They made star lanterns which will go on display at The Garlic Farm as part of the ‘Once in a Blue Moon’ event. This is a public event taking place between 29th-31st October.
Pupils demonstrated respect for tools and processes, resilience (it was a tricky shape to create!) and excellence as shown by the finished lanterns which will look beautiful when lit up at night.
We hope to do some more work sculpting with willow later in the year.
